Kuykendall's Border Collies:
QUALITY IS NEVER
OUT OF STYLE.
Three generations of experience
producing Border Collies with exceptional talent for a wide range of situations.
A strong working pedigree is behind our breeding stock. Border Collie
puppies produced today at the Kuykendall farm are from strong well established
ninth and tenth generation individuals resulting in a more uniform, predictable
litter. Sound bodies and stable temperaments to
withstand the rigorous daily work that they might encounter are among the
traits we look for in our dogs and bitches. Although you will find some
beautiful looking Border Collies on the farm, our selection process concentrates
on Border Collies for their working ability. Years ago when we needed a dog with
stamina to work hard all day that is what we bred for and still do today so you
will see a variety in coat color, size, ear set, eye color, hair length. We are
one of the oldest and most prominent Border Collie Breeders in this country

The successful combination of these
traits doesn't happen by accident - it requires planning and years of
experience working with the Border Collie breed. This combination, though,
produces Border Collies that are consistently successful as sheep dogs,
cattle dogs, goat dogs, agility dogs and goose dogs in a
wide variety of working situations, and that routinely withstand the rigorous physical and mental demands encountered by working dogs.
Plus, all of our puppies are eye
tested, vet checked, raised in the house, and used
to living in today's modern world -- complete with kids.

Quotes from some of our puppy owners:
"He's a super puppy. He fit into the family
wonderfully. We're really impressed with how calm he can be, and yet
he's quite ready to go and do things." (P. M.)
"I have always been impressed with Cait's natural
ability and general good sense...she's really strong and never quits."
(Chase Hubbard) |
"KC is an extremely confident puppy who is not afraid
to take on the world." (S. Farrster) |
